Refunds for NCCI Loss-Cost Glitch Top $12M

Alaska regulators said Thursday they have tallied nearly $400,000 in refunds stemming from a computer glitch at the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI), pushing the total due nationwide to $12 million. "We still have a few small carriers that we need to get back with, but we are almost done with it," said Sarah McNair-Grove, property and casualty actuary with the Alaska Division of Insurance.
