The Nevada Division of Industrial Relations (DIR) adopted revised regulations to require doctors and chiropractors to take more training and pass an examination to rate permanent partial disability, and setting out requirements for compensating injured workers.
The regulations were proposed in January, considered at a public hearing Feb. 14, adopted May 12 and became effective June 1.
