OSHA Fines Youngstown Manufacturer $138,200

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration issued 23 citations and levied $138,200 in fines against Florand Co. of Youngstown, Ohio, for alleged violations of workplace safety and health standards. OSHA opened an inspection at Florand's manufacturing plant in January after receiving information that safety guards had been removed from stamping presses.
