The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division on Friday posted notice of proposed rule changes relating to employer and insurer coverage responsibility, and procedures for employers who don’t provide mandated coverage.
Amendments to Oregon Administrative Rule 436-080 would establish procedures for employers who contest an order of noncompliance, and describe the consequence for not appealing within the time allowed. Several other less substantial changes are proposed to remove unnecessary details and defining terms.
