A St. Paul, Minn., man has been charged in Ramsey County District Court with one count of theft for allegedly collecting more than $1,800 in workers’ compensation benefits he was not entitled to, the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI) announced yesterday.
Terrence Patrick Phillips, 41, received workers’ compensation benefits from October 2001 through January 2002, based on his claim of a work-related injury to his lower back.
