West Virginia Gov. Bob Wise told employees of the state's recently liberated Workers' Compensation Commission that the agency will remain free of the political pressures that are largely credited with nearly bankrupting the system.Under emergency legislation passed earlier this year, the Commission was spun off from the state's Bureau of Employment Programs as of Wednesday.
