A former New York City firefighter who was buried alive twice in the 9/11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center will be the keynote speaker for WorkCompCentral's Comp Laude Awards & Gala, scheduled for Nov. 4-5 in Burbank, California. Lt. Joe Torillo spent the first 15 years of his career at New York's Engine Co. No. 10, across the street from the South Tower at the World Trade Center, according to his website.
