A former city subway conducter and an ex-shop teacher on Staten Island, New York, have been arrested on charges they filed false disability and work comp claims, cheating the state out of nearly $500,000 in workers compensation benefits, Newsday, NY, reports.
Jose Solis, 49, of Florida and William Perazzo, of Staten Island, were arrested Monday on charges they continued to receive disability payments while they were in fact working.
