Researchers at Cleveland State University, funded by a $244,000 grant from the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, are wrapping up a two-year project to improve safe patient-handling practices in nursing homes.
A 200-page report detailing the project is expected to be finalized later this week, said lead researcher Wenbing Zhao, a professor in CSU’s Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
