Governor Makes Appointment to Advisory Council

New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez appointed Tara Bonestroo to the state’s Advisory Council on Workers’ Compensation and Occupational Disease Disablement.

Bonestroo is a partner in Bonestroo and Sons Dairy in Portales. She will fill a vacancy for a business representative on the advisory council.

The advisory council recommends rules and regulations relating to the state’s workers’ compensation system. Although the council’s role is largely advisory, it has authority to appoint members to the panel that approves independent medical examination providers.
