Insurers Can No Longer Offset PTD Payments for Workers Getting Retirement Benefits

A law passed by the Minnesota Legislature in reaction to a pair of state Supreme Court decisions will boost permanent total disability benefits for some injured workers and allow insurers that pay on time to receive relief from the state’s Special Compensation Fund.
