Medical Transport Business Lacked Comp Coverage, Prosecutors Allege

The owner of a medical transportation business in Broome County, New York, has been arrested on suspicion of running the company without workers’ compensation insurance or a valid taxi business license. The defendant is Garabed Kachadourian, owner of BC Cab Inc., which received payments from Medicaid for transporting the program’s beneficiaries to medical appointments.
