Bill Introduced to Clarify Coverage for Peace Officers Injured Outside of State

California police officers injured while apprehending a suspect or protecting lives outside of the state would be eligible for workers’ compensation benefits, according to a bill Assemblyman Tom Daly introduced on the first day of the legislative session.
