CDI Orders Company to Stop Selling Illegal Policies

The California Department of Insurance said it issued a cease-and-desist order on a company that was not authorized to sell and issue workers’ compensation policies. Agricultural Contracting Services Association, doing business as American Labor Alliance, and its affiliate CompOne USA, issued what it claimed to be valid comp policies.
