The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division on Thursday updated bulletins impacting hospital fees and vocational assistance eligibility.
The WCD revised Bulletin 124 to reflect temporary changes in Administrative Rule 436-120 that took effect Feb. 23. The division modified the rule to comply with the Oregon Court of Appeals’ decision in Chu v. SAIF Corp.
The court ruled that the division’s rules improperly considered only income earned from the job that the claimant was working when injured, and not other sources of income.
