Draft Rule Posted for Inpatient Hospital Fees

The Bureau of Workers’ Compensation has posted a notice for possible amendments to Ohio Administrative Cide Rule 4123-6-37.1, payment of hospital inpatient services. The agency proposes that beginning Feb. 1, reimbursement for most hospital inpatient services will be the Medicare rate multiplied by a payment adjustment factor of 1.095. The current payment adjustment factor is 1.127.
