Brown Signs Injury Reporting, CIGA Assessment Bills

Beginning in 2015, California employers will be allowed to make mandatory immediate reports of serious injuries, illnesses and deaths by email and could see assessments increase under bills recently signed by Gov. Jerry Brown.Brown on Tuesday signed AB 326 addressing workplace injury reporting requirements. He signed AB 2230 addressing CIGA assessments on June 28.AB 326, by Assemblyman Mike L.
