DRG Reports Can Now Be Made on WC Court Website

Hospitals and insurers may now file diagnosis-related group (DRG) reports through the Nebraska Workers' Compensation Court's web application, the court announced Wednesday.

State law requires covered hospitals, workers' compensation insurers, self-insured employers and risk-management pools to report claim and stop-loss threshold counts by DRGs. 

Recent changes to the law also require payers and providers to identify bills for trauma services.

Hospitals and payers can report for themselves or use a third-party administrator to file the reports. Users can now enter DRG claim counts and zero-claims information on the same web-based data-entry system, the court said.

The deadline for submission is Oct. 15.
