Commission Releases Medical Fee Project Timeline

The Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission has released its complete timeline to implement medical fee schedules mandated by House Bill 378. The commission last month selected Oliver Wyman Actuarial Consulting, which bid $784,400 on the 15-month project. Representatives of the Melville, New York-based firm will meet several times with the commission’s Medical Fee Schedule Regulatory Advisory Panel to discuss research findings and design considerations.
