O'Banion Named WC Court General Counsel

Assistant Nebraska Attorney General Lorra O'Banion is the new general counsel for the state's Workers' Compensation Court, the court announced Tuesday.

O'Banion, who has represented the court and the Nebraska Workers' Compensation Trust Fund for the past 12 years, takes over for Erin Fox, who returned to private law practice. 

O'Banion also is on the board of editors and has written for the newsletter of the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions. She earned her law degree from the University of Nebraska, and her bachelor's degree from the College of St. Mary in Omaha.
