San Francisco Asks 1st DCA to Review Heart Presumption Case

The City and County of San Francisco is asking the California 1st District Court of Appeal to review a judge's decision that a heart condition suffered by a deputy sheriff who was killed in an accident while off work was the primary cause of his death. The employer has filed a petition for a writ of review with the 1st DCA in City and County of San Francisco v. WCAB (Smith).
