The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division announced that temporary disability benefits will increase 4.6% for injuries on or after July 1 because of an increase in the state’s average weekly wage.
The average weekly wage, which is used to calculate temporary disability, permanent disability and death benefits, increased 4.6%, to $1,077.05 from $963.01, the division said.
As a result, the maximum TD benefit for people injured on or after July 1 will increase, to $1,339.37 from $1,280.80.
