AG Drops Remaining Marsh Bid-Rigging Charges

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has dropped the last two criminal cases facing former executives of mega-broker Marsh & McLennan stemming from a bid-rigging probe that dates back to 2004, Reuters reported.The news service said Schneiderman's office has dismissed indictments against former Marsh executives William Gilman and Edward McNenney, according to their defense attorneys.Former state Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, who was sworn in as governor on Jan. 1, failed to win convictions against any of the eight insurance executives indicted, Reuters said.The investigation was...
