Employer Loses Challenge to PTD Award but Gets Liability Reduced

A Missouri appellate court last week ruled that an employer failed to present an appropriate challenge to a worker’s award of permanent total disability benefits but could avoid some liability for a portion of the medical expenses. The case was Customer Engineering Services v. Odom. Mark Odom worked for Customer Engineering Services, installing photo lab equipment.
