Court Partially Revives Claims of Former Group Trust Member Against Broker

A New York appellate court partially revived the claims of a former group self-insurance trust member against its insurance broker for wrongfully inducing it to participate in the trust.  Case: The Krog Corp. v. The Vanner Group, No. 525140, 02/08/2018, published. Facts: The Elite Contractors Trust of New York was formed in 1999 to provide group self-insurance to employers involved in the construction industry. The Krog Corp. joined the trust in 1999.
