MEMIC Awards Scholarship

Maine Employers' Mutual Insurance Co. announced that it awarded a scholarship for $5,000 to college senior whose father was hospitalized by an on-the-job car accident. The MEMIC Horizon Scholarship is made annually to the spouse or a child of a worker who has suffered a serious injury or death at work. Stone's father was injured at work in a car accident in December of 2005.
