The Maryland House of Delegates voted final approval on Friday of a budget bill that would transfer $50 million of surplus from the Injured Workers' Insurance Fund (IWIF) to general revenue if the state approves a second bill that converts the state-run workers' compensation carrier to a private, nonprofit insurer.The House voted 88 to 50 on Friday afternoon to approve Senate Bill 152, the Budget Reconciliation and Financing Act (BRFA) of 2012.
