Early-Bird Deadline Extended for Conference

The Georgia State Board of Workers' Compensation (SBWC) added two weeks to its early-bird deadline for registering for the annual education conference being held at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel in Atlanta. SWBC said it has moved the deadline for the early-bird rate of $225 to Aug. 14. The rate increases to $275 after that date. The conference runs from Aug. 26-29. It features medical sessions on back, lower extremity, rotator cuff and carpal tunnel injuries and legal sessions on a variety of topics, including death benefits, doctor's depositions and mediations.
