WCD Gives Notice of New Carrier in Assigned Risk Plan

The Oregon Workers' Compensation Division gave official notice Thursday that Travelers is now writing 20% of the book in the state's Assigned Risk Workers' Compensation Plan.As previously reported by WorkCompCentral, Travelers Indemnity Insurance Co. submitted a successful bid to write 20% of the state's assigned-risk market, which covers employers who are unable to obtain coverage in the voluntary market.
