ProCare Rx to Expand at Office Park

Pharmacy benefit manager ProCare Rx plans to expand into a second building to be constructed at ProCare Park in Gainesville, Georgia.

The 31,200-square-foot building will give the company’s 225 employees room to spread out from their 42,900-square-foot building at the park, the Gainesville Times reported.

A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for today. ProCare Rx hopes to move into the new building in the spring.

ProCare Rx was founded in 1987 and administers prescription drug benefits for clients including self-insured employer groups, hospices, workers’ compensation plans, insurance companies and other managed care organizations.

Formerly based in Duluth, ProCare Rx moved to its current location in 2012, according to the Times. ProCare Park is at the former site of a public park that officials described as a previously blighted area.
