Despite Revenue, RemedyTemp Has 4Q Net Loss

RemedyTemp Inc. (Nasdaq:REMX), which operates as Remedy Intelligent Staffing(R), RemX(R) Financial Staffing and RemX(R) IT Staffing, yesterday reported results for its fourth fiscal quarter and fiscal year ended Sept. 28, 2003. For the 2003 fourth quarter, revenue advanced 0.9% to $126.5 million from $125.4 million for the prior year period. Sequentially, revenue increased 6.4% over the preceding third quarter. Despite the increase in revenue, a number of factors contributed to a net loss for the fourth quarter of $24.0 million, or $2.67 per share, compared with net income of $734,000, or $0....
