The seven subsidiaries of Copperpoint Mutual Insurance Co. combined to write $213.6 million in premiums in 2013, accounting for 27.62% of the $773.2 million in premium written by 341 carriers in Arizona, according to a WorkCompCentral analysis of data in the Department of Insurance 2014 annual report. Copperpoint is the carrier formerly known as SCF Arizona that was converted to a mutual carrier and freed from state control effective Jan. 1, 2013.
