The Division of Workers’ Compensation suspended a businessman convicted of paying kickbacks in 2010, as well as a handful of convicted providers.
The division on Thursday announced the suspension of David Wayne Fish, who pleaded no contest and was convicted alongside the co-owner of Premier Medical Management Systems Inc. of paying kickbacks for work comp referrals. As part of a sentencing deal, Premier agreed not to pursue payment on thousands of liens with a total claimed value of more than $70 million.
