A New York State Department of Transportation employee has pleaded guilty to fraudulently obtaining nearly $10,000 in workers’ compensation benefits.
Corey Cragnolin on Wednesday pleaded guilty in Rochester City Court to a charge of attempted fraudulent practices, a misdemeanor, according to a news release from the New York Attorney General’s Office.
As part of his plea agreement, Cragnolin will resign from the Department of Transportation, be sentenced to three years probation and pay $9,940 in restitution, the AG’s office said.
