Lawmakers have reappointed Wesley G. Marshall as commissioner of the state Workers’ Compensation Commission for a second six-year term.
Marshall, formerly an attorney in private practice who primarily represented injured workers, is currently serving his third year as the commission’s chairman.
The agency’s three commissioners serve as appellate-level judges, and direct the commission’s operations and staff of 290.
Marshall earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia in 1985 and his J.D. there in 1988.
