Former Reserve National President Named Chief Actuary for Insurance Department

The Oklahoma Insurance Department has hired the former president of Reserve National Insurance Co. to be chief actuary for the department. Andrew Schallhorn's first day on the job will be Monday, Insurance Commissioner John Doak said in a statement. “This position is extremely vital,” Doak said. “Monitoring the financial solvency of insurance companies is the number one thing we do to protect consumers.
