Pact Targets Courthouse Construction Work

Representatives of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, contractors, labor groups and the New York Department of Labor approved a safety partnership to protect employees who will be constructing the new federal courthouse in downtown Buffalo.Mascaro Construction Co., the project's general contractor, and 20 contractors and subcontractors; Buffalo Building and Construction Trades Council, AFL-CIO and New York Department of Labor's safety consultation program are members of the partnership.Requirements of the partnership include 30 hours of safety training for all superviso...
