Alternatives to Drug Testing Proposed for Assessing Marijuana Impairment

Higher percentages of urine and saliva samples taken from U.S. workers are testing positive for marijuana, according to a report released last week by drug testing company Quest Diagnostics. At the same time, some are suggesting that drug tests are not the the best way to determine whether marijuana use is impairing employees’ ability to do their jobs.
