Two Mississippi men pleaded guilty in federal court in Hattiesburg on Tuesday for their roles in a multi-million-dollar compounding pharmacy health care fraud conspiracy.
Jason May, 40, of Lamar County pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit health care fraud and money laundering, WDAM television reported. Gerald Jay Schaar, 46, of Biloxi pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit health care fraud. Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 17.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Mississippi announced the charges this month.
