Hearing on Qualifications of Comp Court Nominees Set for Aug. 20

The Judicial Nominating Commission for the Nebraska Workers' Compensation Court will hold a public hearing in Lincoln on Aug. 20 to consider the qualifications of candidates to fill the seat of Workers' Compensation Court Judge Ronald Brown, who is resigning on Aug. 3.The hearing is set for 10 a.m. in the Supreme Court courtroom on the second floor of the state Capitol at 1445 K St.Individuals interested in applying for the position must do so by 5 p.m. on July 20 on an approved form available through the commission at the Office of the State Court Administrator, P.O.
