Couple Who Cashed Dead Claimants' Checks Among 4 Admitting WC Fraud

A man and a woman who stole the identity of a deceased claimant so they could cash his benefit checks were among four Ohio residents who pleaded guilty to or were convicted of workers' compensation fraud charges in January, according to the Bureau of Workers' Compensation. Consuelo "Connie" Griffin and David Lusk of Cincinnati both pleaded guilty on Jan. 14 to theft charges and were ordered to pay $5,072.62 in restitution.
