A team of investigators from the U.S. Chemical Safety Board was sent to the site of an April 29 explosion at a propylene refrigeration unit at the Huntsman Corp. petrochemical plant in Port Arthur.
No injuries were reported at the Texas olefins facility, but the plant was shut down and fires continued to burn on Monday.
Investigator John Vorderbrueggen is leading a team of four who are to arrive at the plant today.
