Colorado Selects FAIR Health for Fee Schedule Review

The Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation selected FAIR Health to analyze, review and update the state’s medical fee schedule.

FAIR said in a statement it has been working with regulators in Georgia and Kentucky to update their fee schedules, and that it’s also helping the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Commission develop its 2019 fee schedule that will be released later this year.

The company said it intends to use data gathered by Colorado regulators, together with the information in its own health care database, to analyze payments and update the fee schedule. FAIR also said it plans to participate in meetings with users of Colorado’s workers’ compensation system to get feedback about the current fee schedule.

FAIR Health is a national nonprofit. The company says it has the largest collection of private health care claims data with more than 28 billion claim records.
