Terminating a worker's employment while he is receiving workers' compensation temporary total disability benefits is not a violation of public policy, an Ohio court ruled.
In Edwards v. I. Schumann & Co., 88528, 06/21/2007, the 8th District Court of Appeals ruled that only an at-will employee, which the court determined Willie Edwards was not, could assert a claim that his termination is contrary to public policy.
