DWC Schedules Public Hearing on Permanent Provider Suspension Rules

The California Division of Workers’ Compensation will hold a public hearing on Dec. 11 to take comments on proposed provider suspension rules that will make permanent the emergency rules the division adopted in January.  The proposed permanent rules include several new sections that were not included in the emergency rules now in effect: Section 9788.3 establishes a hearing process for medical providers who contest their suspension from the workers’ compensation system.
