Lawmakers have sent Gov. Gina Raimondo a bill that repeals a provision of law that would have limited compensable injuries in some cases to 65% and greater of functional impairment. Gov. Gina Raimondo The House passed Senate Bill 917 by a 65-0 vote on June 29, one day after the Senate passed it 34-0. It was transmitted to the governor on Wednesday. If signed, the bill eliminates a provision that related to injuries that happened on and after July 1, 2023.
