The Washington state Department of Labor and Industries clarified its policies relating to special warrants for benefit payments, transportation for vocational training, and scheduling of independent medical examinations.
The department issued Policy 2.91 on May 15, which defines the steps it takes to issue a check for time-loss, permanent partial disability, vocational awards and pension payments.
