Former Kentucky Rep. W. Keith Hall’s attorney indicated in court documents that the former Democratic lawmaker has reached a deal with prosecutors to plead guilty.

He was charged with three counts of wire fraud, two counts of identity theft and one count of lying to an agent from the Federal Bureau of Investigations.

Prosecutors accused Hall of submitting fake documents to a company his mine worked with that had asked for proof that all vendors had liability and workers’ compensation insurance.

Hall, 58, is serving a seven-year prison sentence for bribery.
