Commissioner Approves WCIRB Regulatory Filing

California Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones has approved the Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau’s regulatory filing, which makes amendments to uniform statistical reporting and experience rating. Jones, however, rejected a proposal to change several private school classifications, which might have impacted premiums paid by facilities that serve the developmentally disabled.
