The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited a Long Island construction company for alleged violations of workplace safety hazards after a worker was killed in a structure collapse.
Northridge Construction Corp., of East Patchogue, faces $224,620 in penalties in connection with the citations, issued last month. The company has contested the citations and proposed penalties to the independent Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission.
